Assignment#6

1. The next step in our (Jorjia and I) project was to physically get in contact with an animal shelter and find out what we could do to help. We contacted someone at the dakin humane society. 2. While talking with the shelter, they told us that the shelter was not looking for volunteers. However, they told us that we could still do things to help the shelter and the animals there. They gave us some ideas as well. They said that we could raise money, collect necessities for animals (food, toys, etc.), and call attention towards animals who need forever homes.  3. The next thing we are going to do is actually collect things, make money, etc. for the animal shelter and donate it. If the shelter ever needs volunteers however, we would be more than willing to help out at the shelter.

Step #5

The next step in my passion project is to find an animal shelter nearby that is looking for volunteers. Once I find one, I will get in contact with the shelter and find out their volunteer policy and find out what they need my help with. Once that is done, I will work out a schedule with the shelter and hopefully begin volunteering.
